Embedded design on PIC and LPC microcontrollers

This section was started as a "new home" for some content I wrote in the "notebook" of my MBED page. Due to the changing nature of the MBED platform it appears as if the notebook feature has been discontinued.

I'm extending it to cover a list of topics relating to hobbyist/semi-professional embedded projects.

The quality of information may vary as some parts are researched and others are really just opinions.
